Left 4 Dead 2 Acceptance Group Starts to Rise!

"Tired of the complaints of L4D2? Join this group to rival them!"

A small group of people tired of the Left 4 Dead 2 Boycotts
has risen up. Its growing slowly but raises some valid opposing points.
Such as....

- 5 New (Connecting!) Campains! And, the possibility of including the original 4 Campains!

- Finales aren't just "hold out and wait for rescue", it's "get your ass across the highway to rescue"! Think about it, how many times have you played a Versus match where one team died at the start of the finale, and the other team held out until rescue was about to arrive, then died, but BOTH teams got 200 points? Well, distance can now be measured for fair gameplay!

- Better gore effects! Who can resist bloodier zombies with more places to "gib"? Not me!

They are selling smoke with fancy ribbons to you dude. All what are you saying is content that could be DLC, to be downloaded in a time of 6 months.

I paid 50 bucks for a co-op game with about 5 hours worth of co-op content that didn't get any real updates 'cept survival mode. That's not worth 50 bucks.

So, when I hear the dev's have been working on just making a brand new game, instead of providing content to the original (trying to pull some madden bullshit). I tell them, no, fuck you. I'm not going to waste my money.

TF2 started out at 30 bucks. Tf2 now is 20 bucks. It was worth it's value then, now it's probably the best deal around with all the great updates. I sure wish I could say the same about l4d.

This actually highlights the upside of putting some time between a game and its sequels. Yes, nobody is forcing players to buy it. But it's not as if they're going to continue supporting a game that the fans bought a year ago when they're already releasing an entirely new entry in the series. So now you have a bunch of fans angry because it feels like they fell for a ruse. It's like having bought Windows Vista today only to find out Windows 7 comes out next year and you have to pay full price for the significantly better upgrade. Or having to pay full price to upgrade from Mac Leopard to the new "Snow Leopard". And it ends up feeling like Valve decided to give a big middle finger to the people that originally bought L4D, which is bad company policy, no two ways about it.

So you played each campaign once, on easy to normal difficulty, then dropped the game? The whole point of having the AI director in randomizing spawns is for multiple playthroughs, and that's just campaign mode.
